Plum wood lidded box – Delia Mahala

Plum wood lidded box. The alder burl ring helps align the grain pattern and adds contrast between the two woods.

A small crack was stabilised with sawdust and cyanoacrylate adhesive. The box is finished with shellac and varnish for a glossy appearance.
