Acacia wood lidded box – Daciana Lorraine

Acacia wood lidded box.
Both the box and the lid were turned with a specialised hollowing tool, creating a dome-like interior and showcasing the striking grain. The lid is not airtight and the box can be opened with one hand.
The box has a semi-gloss finish made with two coats of shellac.
