Acacia wood lidded box – Tiffany Cynthia

Acacia wood box with a cherry lid and spalted beech knob. The black ring on the lid was created by burning.

The acacia wood was softer, so the bottom of the box retains a few less smooth areas, visible in the photographs. The glossy finish is made with shellac.
