Alder burl clock – Jess Praise

Hand-turned alder burl clock for a desk or mantelpiece, measuring 9 cm in diameter and 17 cm in height. Swirling burl eyes and rich colour variations make each piece distinctive; burl is rarer than ordinary wood. Made with care and attention to detail, the clock combines a decorative wooden form with a working mechanism. The mechanism can be removed to replace the batteries. It is intended for people who collect wooden clocks or appreciate natural materials. I hope it will last for many years and reach someone who values its character.
