Elm lidded box with green resin – Harlan Selma

Elm wood lidded box made from a log affected by larvae and saved from firewood. Their tracks were deliberately left visible. A larger crack was filled with green epoxy resin. The chatoyant grain changes colour with the light. Shellac gives it a glossy finish.
